Devising a Work Plan for Women and Disabled Voter Rights in Afghanistan
Through developing a detailed project implementation plan, Projects-Direct.Net support’s the management of ANPO’s My Future, My Right, My Vote project in 2013.
The project is managed by Counterpart International on behalf of USAID.
The work plan details the step by step process of running10 separate activities for 20 staff members and volunteers in eight provinces over a four month period in the run up to elections in Afghanistan.
The ‘My Future, My Right, My Vote’ project goal is to enable the Afghan citizens including youth, people with disabilities, women, tribal elders, local and religious leaders in 34 provinces to participate more effectively in the political process, to raise community issues, and demand good governance from their leaders.
- 1. Project Measurable Objectives (During the life of the Project):
- Up to 5% increased participation and involvement of youth, women and the disabled in the upcoming electoral processes in four provinces.
- Listeners of 32 radio programs and 50 spots on 60 radio stations across the country show increased awareness and knowledge of the civil and political participation from reliable sources as Islam’s holy book, religious leaders, tribal elders, women in political positions and the law.
- 10,000 listeners of 32 radio programs and 50 spots on 60 radio stations across the country request the leaflet accompanying the radio programs.
